The number is constantly changing as I add new trains to the collection. Check out the Collection Page (https://ericstrains.com/collection) to see the current state of my collection. I think you'll enjoy it!
What is your favorite locomotive in your collection?
I don't have one. Seriously. I like every train I own for different reasons. They each shine in their own way.
Can I come visit your train layout?
Yes! Each year I hold an open house during which anyone may come and see the layout for free. The open house is part of a tour of Atlanta and North Georgia area train layouts called The Piedmont Pilgrimage and is put on by the local NMRA chapter. My open house is typically in either October or November, with the actual date varying each year. I will announce the open house date a few months prior on my youtube channel, and more information can be found at https://piedmontpilgrimage.com.
If I can't make the year open house, can I schedule a private viewing at another time?
I do not typically offer private appointments to see the layout.
How long have you been in the model railroading hobby?
I enjoyed model trains as a kid, but then got away from them during college. I got back into the hobby in 2004 and have been in it ever since.
