MTH 30-1433-1 Silver Bullet Train Set w/Proto-Sound 2.0
I usually try to stay with more prototypical stuff, but I just couldn't resist when I saw this train in the 2007 Vol. 1 MTH catalog. The set itself is amazing looking and the sounds are incredible. The opening doors on the box cars with the smoke/cold effect are reall neat too. MTH deserves to make a lot of money off this set. They really put some thought into it. You can see a close up of the box cars down below in the rolling stock section of this page. You can check out a video of this engine in action right here. This is a 2007 model, added to my set in November of 2007. |

MTH 30-1433 A,B,C Coors Silver Bullet Reefers
This is one of the 3 reefers (A,B,C) that came with the Coors Silver Bullet set. Their doors can be opened and closed using the MTH DCS remote control. Each car has a smoke unit that simulates freezer fog when the doors are opened to reveal the carload of frosty brew. Yeah, it's pretty cool. Made in 2007, added to my set in November of the same year. |
