Lionel 6-11336 2-8-8-4 EM-1 Undecorated Pilot

This is a unique unpainted pilot version of Lionel's big EM-1 steam engine. I think it's so unique and different looking, and that's why I like it. Fantastic engine! Made in 2012, added to my set in March of 2012.

MTH 30-79056 Baltimore & Ohio Operating Box Car w/Signal Man

This was my second MTH rolling stock purchase. MTH's operating cars are so much smoother than Lionel's. The slow and fluid motion as the door opens and the man comes out with his lantern is just amazing. This is a 2004 release, added to my layout in September 2005.

Lionel 6-27047 Chessie PS2 Hopper #600120

The local trainstore, Atlanta Trains, was having a 40% off sale so I snagged this car and the two cars below this one. Three brand new cars for just over $100 is a damn good deal. I'd been looking for some Chessie System stuff anyway, so it was nice to get these for a good price. I like the these hoppers have opening roof hatches. I'm going to weather both of these cars in the near future. Made in 2008, added to my set in July of 2008.
