Friday, September 30th, 2011All 5 new backdrops are installed!
Sunday, September 25th, 2011Just finished installed the last of the 5 new backdrops I purchased. I can’t believe I got them all up in just over 24 hours. Colorado room is done. Hallway room is done. Back room still needs one more 8 foot backdrop panel for the larger table, but the outer tables are done. With the backdrops nearly complete, I can finally start doing some serious scenery work in those rooms.

Sunday, September 25th, 2011The last batch of backdrops from Backdrop Warehouse arrived a couple days ago and I’m in the process of installing them now. I’ve got 3 out of 5 installed as of now. They’re a giant pain to install but they look fantastic.
Cleaning house
Thursday, September 15th, 2011I’m hosting a meeting tonight for the local O-gauge club I belong to. With that in mind, I’m rushing to clean up the layout so that it’s at least somewhat presentable.
Finally, at last!
Wednesday, September 7th, 2011After a couple years of procrastination, I finally ordered the remaining backdrops for the layout today from Backdrop Warehouse! I should get them within a couple weeks. Once I’ve got the backdrops up in the Colorado Room and Back Room, I can finally start doing scenery work back there! My goal is to have the backdrops installed and at least some scenery work going on by the time the Piedmont Pilgrimage open house happens on October 29th. So excited!
